The Nanjing Zhong Ye exhibition gallery and sales center is conceived by taking into account the historical and industrial heritage of its site. Its volumes reflect the varied urban fabric and create a contrast between a solid yet calm appearance on the outside and a fluid succession of exhibition spaces within.
The building’s adaptable spatial program offers the flexibility required with its future as a public art museum in mind. A rooftop garden with reflection pool allows visitors to enjoy views along Yangtze River and the historic wangjiang temple.
