8DGE has designed the 320 000 sqm Mia Center in Chengdu Jiancai Lu. The site is directly located adjacent to the high speed rail station. The development offers retail, residential and soho apartments in one destination.
The site is made up of 2 parts. Site East comprises of 8 residential towers organized around a central green park maximizing scenic views, while Site West is made up of SOHO towers with retail shops at its podium. The towers deliver quality work home office scenarios, the terraced podium adopts multi-level connected retail spaces, public patios and balconies overlooking into the lush greenery.
The façade of the towers features a S shape continuous white band that also reflect and define the units’ modular arrangement. A monochromatic palette of black, grey and white colours was selected, distinguishing the project from surrounding developments mainly in brown and beige tones, adding another lively dimension to the building complex and conveying an ambience that matches the brand’s young and vibrant target audience.
